March 17th, 2025. Maybe it was St. Patrick’s Day magic, but legend says we found the gold at the end of the rainbow: we officially joined Damia Group Portugal!

2015 how we were born

Sony announced the PlayStation 4, React Native went open-source, and Landing.Jobs was created!

Between such important world news, one stands out: Pedro Oliveira meets José Paiva for the first time, and the two become… The Founders.

€750K from PV
and LC ventures

2015 were going great! We raised €750K from PV and LC ventures in the first round of investment, the recruitment business became highly profitable, and the number of hires and delivery rate were surprisingly high!

The first
Landing Festival

If you are wondering if the festival sent a sardine into space, two things:

<li> Why the heck are you thinking that?
<li> And yes, yes it did. Ironically, we don’t think the sardine landed.

The dream was growing big and fast

  • The first Landing Festival in Berlin
  • The first Tech Hiring Community Conference
  • The first Tech Recruitment Academy
  • The first Tech Talent Trends Report, one of the best global sources in the tech talent market
  • The launch of Portugal Tech Hub, an alliance of public and private portuguese organisations about Portugal as a top tech destination.

€2 million and a series a startup

In 2020 we became a Series A startup, raising €2 Million from LC Ventures and Jacobo UG Investment.

We also performed at Rock in Rio as Mucho Love & Landing J’s, I guess you can say we are very Rock&Roll.

2025 marked a major milestone

Landing.Jobs became part of Damia Group, a tech recruitment powerhouse with over 30 years of experience.

As you probably know, tequila is a drink that makes people do crazy things: dance naked in the street, call ex-boyfriends or completely transform the recruitment experiences of IT professionals in the country.

Well, It made the founders do this last one.
